Aspire provides services in the areas of Homelessness, Older People, Children and Families and Disabilities.

In many cases these key areas overlap.

Our approach is adapted to both the needs and the aspirations of each individual, irrespective of whether he or she is a child, teenager, adult or elderly individual and whether the Support, Care or Development required is:

  • To teach new skills and promote independence.
  • To re-establish their lives within their families and communities.
  • For mental health recovery.
  • Concerned with harm-reduction.
  • To help maintain functions/abilities.
  • For re-learning skills.
  • Palliative.

As we keep the person at the centre of decision making we learn from each experience and we learn most from the individuals with whom we work.

The most important tool we have designed to keep the individual at the centre of decision making is our "Support and Development Agreement" (SDA).

This covers each individual’s unique needs for both Support and Personal Development. It is a contractual arrangement whereby the person's Agreement is required in respect of any interventions that might be made by Aspire staff working in partnership with the individual and other agencies who may be involved. There are different versions of the SDA tailored to different types of Aspire’s services e.g. Housing Support/ Home Care services.
