About Us

We are an employee owned, awards winning social care provider, winning at the highly prestigious Scottish Care National Awards every year in the past decade.  Our efforts are focused on helping the people we support have the most fulfilling and self-directed lives possible. We help people develop their confidence and skills and to realise their potential.

Employee Ownership is consistent with Aspire’s ethos and values of empowering all people to live their best lives, whatever their circumstance. Whilst that approach fundamentally underpins our work with people we support it also applies to our employees.

Due to growth, as a result of our reputation and confidence in the supports given to people, we are looking for Support Workers to join us who share our values and who want to truly make a difference!

About our Support Workers

Our Support Workers deliver high quality support, care and daily living.  It can be challenging but also highly rewarding.

The varied role may involve you: assisting with all levels of personal care and prompting, assisting or administering medication. You may need to provide tenancy support, emotional support and assist people with clinical and health care needs.  You could be supporting people within their own homes or actively engaging within current restriction with the local community, while assisting people to live their best life as independently as possible.  You will be working alongside people to build trust and ensure all communication, opinions and decisions are appropriately recorded, reported and respected.

About you

If you are caring, compassionate, enthusiastic and committed to supporting people in the community who may have additional support needs you could be exactly who we are looking for!

Flexibility is really important to us as you will need to be able to meet the needs of the service.  We would prefer that you have an SVQ 2 or 3 in Health & Social care or have the commitment to undertake an SVQ. We are also looking for you to be registered with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) or have a commitment to become registered.

This will be a 4 month fixed term, 20 hours to 37.5 hours per week post with a salary of £11 per hour to reflect the on-call nature.
