Service Manager - Outreach Service (Glasgow)

We are looking for a solution oriented Service Manager who is an inspirational leader and a successful manager with excellent people and financial utilisation skills, gained by working within Health or Social Care; preferably within a community based setting. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who will lead our Outreach Service and continually develop staff that support individuals within their own home, specialise in mental health, addictions and tenancy sustainment and support those with mental health issues.

Reporting to a Regional Manager the Service Manager will have a holistic approach in best utilising the team’s assets to assist each individual we work with to meet their personal outcomes.  The post holder will manage the operations and development of the Outreach Services and make certain service provision is outcomes led and prevention focused.  The Service Manager role will be responsible for the operational management, budgets, development, meeting growth targets, staff management and recruitment of high calibre of staff, management reporting and evolution of this service.

The Service Manager will liaise with referral agents and directly with individuals and families/carers fostering strong collaborative working relationships and will plan and co-ordinate the consistent delivery of high quality support and care.  The post holder will be committed to ensuring that the best interests of supported individuals consistently remain the paramount consideration for all Aspires activities.

Other essential skills include: To be experienced with rota management systems and implementation of self-led teams. To be an excellent communicator who drives quality through monitoring, planning and reviewing service delivery and implementing action plans in order to continuously improve.

Required licences and certifications:

SSSC Management Registration meeting all qualifications within the required timelines.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use as travel throughout the service locations of Aspire is an expectation of the post holder.
PVG check will be required for the successful applicants.
