Vacancies available within Airdrie, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Wishaw West, Motherwell, Bellshill, Wishaw

Full and part time permanent posts with a variety of shift patterns are available, including Early/Day/Back/Sleepover. Start and end times vary depending on the person being supported or the area you will work. Applicants must have a UK manual driving licence with access to their own car.

Join our team if you are a Support Worker with patience, good listening skills and a keen interest in providing personalised Care at Home or Self-Directed Supports for people within the North Lanarkshire Local Authority area. The people we support face a variety of cognitive, physical and/or behavioural challenges in their day to day lives.

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate workers who have a caring and thoughtful nature and who want to make a positive difference in people’s lives by ensuring the outcome-based support plans designed to meet each person’s specific needs are achieved.

Working as part of the Care at Home run you will focus on providing meal prep, personal care, attending to their health needs and providing medication prompts, sometimes lone working.

Or

Working as part of the Self-Directed Support team you will assist the individuals you support to participate in social opportunities and community events, to accompany them shopping and/or maintain their own home. Lone working you will support people to develop their confidence and skills, to realise their potential and to have the most fulfilling lives possible. 

If you do not have a SVQ 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, you will be given the opportunity and support to achieve this. If you are not registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), we will support you in becoming registered.
